Capabilities

Feeding, automated and accountable

Scheduled Dispensing

Automated feeding on a configurable daily or multi-time schedule.

Portion Control

Precise dispensing amounts tuned to each animal or group.

RFID Animal Identification

Recognize individual animals to feed the right diet to the right one.

Feed-Level Sensors

Know when a hopper or silo is running low before it runs out.

Jam & Fault Detection

Alerts when a motor, auger or dispensing line isn't working correctly.

Remote Monitoring

Check feeding status and history from a phone or web dashboard.

Consumption History

Track feed usage over time to spot trends or anomalies early.

Custom Controllers

Purpose-built feeding controllers sized to your equipment and species.

FAQ

Common questions

Can the system identify individual animals?

Yes — RFID-based identification lets the system dispense different diets or portions to different animals sharing the same feeding station.

What happens if the feed line jams?

Fault detection can flag a motor or dispensing issue and send an alert, rather than silently failing to feed.

Can I monitor feed levels remotely?

Yes — level sensors on hoppers or silos report status to the dashboard, with low-feed alerts configurable to your schedule.

Engineering Services

What a Feeder Project Includes

Feeders combine electronics, sensing and dispensing mechanics. We design the electronics and firmware, and scope the mechanical side with you.

Feeder control PCB

Motor drive, sensing interfaces and power management designed around the dispensing hardware.

Portion & dispensing firmware

Schedules, portion control, and jam or fault detection implemented in firmware.

Feed-level & load sensing

Load-cell or level sensing integrated and calibrated for your hopper and feed type.

RFID recognition (optional)

Animal identification for selective feeding, integrated with the controller.

App & data integration

Feeding history and remote control through the device-to-app data path.

Engineering trade-offs

  • Portion accuracy vs. hopper size

Larger hoppers hold more feed but need steadier sensing and calibration to keep portions consistent.

  • Mains vs. battery power

Mains power allows continuous dispensing and sensing; battery operation limits motor duty and reporting.

  • Local control vs. cloud

Scheduled feeding can run on the controller itself, with data synced to an app when connectivity is available.

  • Mechanics & enclosure

Dispensing mechanics and enclosure are often designed with a mechanical partner or your team; we integrate the electronics with them.

Information that helps us scope a project

  • Animal type, count and feeding frequency
  • Feed type and hopper capacity
  • Power source available (mains or battery)
  • Connectivity and app requirements
  • Whether RFID identification is needed
  • Target volume and timeline
